A new issue of 'The Richard Long Newsletter', No 65, on the occasion of 25 years Galerie Tschudi.
At first the gallery started in a little Swiss town called Glarus, quite far away from the hectic world.
The visitor was always welcomed in a very friendly way. The exhibitions in the villa always had a human size.
In the surrounding garden one could see works of Niele Toroni, Ulrich Rückriem, Mario Merz and Richard Long. Later bigger installations could be exhibited in the garage/swimmingpool-like annex just across the street. Richard Long made some stunning works in there.
Since several years Galerie Tschudi has a second gallery in Zuoz, in the Engadin Valley.
A group exhibition with artists of the gallery marks Galerie Tschudi's jubilee.
On behalf of the visitors of 'The Richard Long Newsletter' I wish Ruedi Tschudi and Elsbeth Bisig the very best, beautiful exhibitions and a good health.
